Hi, I’m Augusta!
I’m a Junior Graphic Designer with 5 years of experience across academic and freelance projects. I specialize in branding, visual storytelling, and social media management to shape how people interact with and experience the world!
I’m a 23-year-old visual communication designer with a passion for turning big perspectives into immersive, real-world visual experiences. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawing, painting, and building, and I was always recognized for my artistic talent growing up. Today, I thrive on creating work that elevates everyday moments, brings people together, and leaves a lasting impact—whether that’s through packaging, typography, or brand storytelling.
While at Kent State University, I served as the Communication Director for Kent State’s chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). I directed, developed, and promoted design-related events, using both print and digital media to keep the student body engaged and informed. I also managed the club’s Instagram page, consistently posting fun and engaging content to boost interaction.
Parallel to my design journey, my work ethic was forged in fast-paced retail and hospitality roles. Balancing full-time academics with positions as a shift manager and restaurant server taught me the art of rapid problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and exceptional communication. My ability to connect deeply with others launched my freelance career—securing my first client on my very first day at a new restaurant position.
I strongly believe that impactful design begins with perspective. I deeply value cross-functional collaboration and diverse viewpoints, translating those connections into immersive visual experiences that resonate. Design is a powerful medium to take different ideas and shape them into something tangible, transforming how we interact with the world. I am excited to bring my mindset, energy, and dedication to a forward-thinking creative team!
